Welcome friend!
You’ve given yourself the gift of pause. Be proud of taking this time to nurture your mind, body and spirit. We recommend setting aside a couple hours to fully enjoy your kit. Find a calm, cozy spot at home or step outside into nature. For the most restorative experience, consider putting your phone on “Do Not Disturb.”
This mini retreat is yours to create. We’ve included a suggested flow that you can move through at your own pace. During your retreat experience, you might feel called to add your own practices - perhaps dance, paint, breathe, sit in silence, connect with nature, or simply rest. Trust your intuition and honor what feels right for you.
About Your Kit
Palo Santo
Palo Santo, meaning “holy wood,” comes from South America and has been used in spiritual and healing practices for centuries. When burned, its smoke is believed to cleanse heavy energy, create clarity, and invite peace into the space. Use it before beginning your retreat to set the tone and open your ritual.
Cacao
Ceremonial cacao is pure, minimally processed cacao that has been used for thousands of years in indigenous traditions for healing and connection. It is rich in magnesium, antioxidants, and theobromine, supporting both physical vitality and emotional openness. Known as a heart-opener, cacao can help you connect with your inner truth, spark creativity, and invite self-compassion.
Meditation
Meditation is a practice of returning to presence, quieting the mind, and attuning to the wisdom within. Whether through focused breath, guided practice, or silence, meditation helps dissolve distraction and invite calm. Over time, it supports your sense of clarity, compassion, and resilience, grounding you in a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
Yoga
Yoga is an ancient practice that aligns the mind, body, and spirit. It helps move stagnant energy in the body and helps ground you in the present moment. Yoga is more than physical movement, it is a practical system for awakening our fullest potential. By supporting nervous system regulation, it helps us become less reactive to stress, more adaptable, and better able to stay grounded when life feels challenging.
Journaling
Journaling creates space to process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. By putting pen to paper, you give voice to your inner world, uncover insights, and release what no longer serves you. It can become a mirror for self-reflection, helping you track growth, cultivate gratitude, and set intentions for what’s to come.
Ritual
Even the simplest ritual, like lighting a candle, can hold profound meaning. The flame symbolizes clarity, renewal, and intention, marking the transition into sacred space. This small act reminds you to pause, breathe, and honor the moment.

Light your palo santo and gently wave the smoke around your space. As you do, invite positive energy in and imagine a protective white light surrounding you.
3. Prepare Your Cacao
Follow the instructions on the back of your cacao packet and prepare your cacao with intention.
Before your first sip, take a moment to thank the medicine for opening your heart and guiding you.
4. Mindfully Drink Your Cacao
As you slowly drink, savor the experience. Notice the aroma, the warmth in your hands, and the flavors on your tongue.
Let each sip be a reminder to arrive fully in the present moment.

What do I imagine for myself in the next season of life?
What part of me is asking to be nurtured right now?
What truth within me is asking to be expressed?
8. Closing Ritual
Light your candle, take three deep breaths, and reflect on your retreat experience. Write down one word or phrase to carry forward with you. When ready, blow out the candle as a seal of completion.
